As for me, my usual weekend activities are jogging, gardening, movies/dinner/coffee with friends. Like to cook and bake but can’t do that often, as that’s invading my mum private space...haha. She doesn’t like me mesh up the kitchen :)
Anyhow, what kind of flowers do you like? I got a couple of different ones at home like roses, orchids, jasmine, sunflowers, lavenders, and some spice plants too… still trying to master how to keep them well. I just bought some English and French lavenders this friday. Have u seen a bed of lavender field?

Pink is a beautiful colour. It rejuvenates the eyes! I feel so relaxed! Never felt any better. Mmmm.
And by the way, if Yunkuan manages to get the eyelashes out with a tweezer that'll be perfect!

And I Do think that pink kills brain cells. Or eyesight cells. Assuming eyeball cells are called eyeball cells. Anyway. Each time I read I have to squint because It's So Pink. Pink is the new sunlight. and "i'm pretty sure purple with white polka dots will encourage brain cells to grow better than pink does"?? coughBIMBOcough.
But yes, I'd vastly prefer purple with white polka dots than sunlight pink. gah.
and YES I get that all the time too! ohmygosh the whole english-is-for-teaching. I quote my gp tutor: The only occupations I cannot do as an arts student are a] doctor b] dentist c] bridge builder.
And who wants to build bridges anyway.
anyhow, I think we make perfect sense. We are such sensible people. We are hilarious people who are sensible too. :D
although I'm not quite sure how shao feels about wearing someone else's bloody eyelashes with bits of flesh dripping off it

no rachel. pink does not kill brain cells. how could u say that??!! i asked shao to make it this pink. if only to torture gim. since he's the only guy u know. and he tortures us everyday with stupid mumblings.
but i'm pretty sure purple with white polka dots will encourage brain cells to grow better than pink does. so if i can, i shall change this background to purple with polka dots. maybe i can do it in time for our 5000 word essay submission. and then u guys can all thank me and my polka dots if u get As.

who says what we are doing has no practical application in the real world outside of the classroom?? i swear the next time i get that, i will kick that person with my pointy shoes. in the crotch. and if that person happens to be a girl, i will pull out all her eyelashes and give it to u shao, for eyelash transplant. people who do hair extensions say real hair works better than synthetic ones. im sure it applies to eyelashes too.
anyway, i shall publicise us at my personal blog. so if we add a tagboard, we shall soon have people telling us how crazy we all sound.

hah... i cant be bothered already.. quite tired and dun wanna write anymore.. so i just submitted wadever i had.... all of u shld do the same too!!! looking at the guidelines she sent us, i dun even think we are supposed to write so much lor.... i jus gave her like the bare minimum man... and i wrote abt 600 words crapping abt why i chose the text, my method of analysis and the aim etc...
i m gonna be quite screwed....
It's 10 pm now and I'm starting to get bored looking at my stupid assignment analysis thing. Which hasn't increased a single bit in the word count thingy and I'm afraid I'll never finish it ever. How frightening.
It's a 2000 word assignment but I'm only at 600 words! Help! I want ice cream too! And cake! And prawns.
When this is all over let's have dinner. I want big fat prawns.

I just realised. that 5000 words is FREAKING long.
It's even longer than 12 pages.
[The longest paper I did was in year1sem1 and it was 12 pages and word count: 3 600+]
So... 3600 divided by 12 is... um. 300 words per page, if I got it right.
So um. 5 000 divided by 300 is um. 50 divided by 3 which is uh. 16 pages.
AHHHHH.

we could use this to educate people on what being an english major really means. you know how like when you tell someone yr an english major it becomes,
us: i'm an english major
bloke: har? [puzzled look]. oh, like literature?
us: no, like linguistics
bloke: ooohhh...
but you know they don't actually know, not really anyway.
